Clifton Hill Residence

Clifton Hill Residence features a contemporary extension designed to enhance light, warmth, and refined materiality within an existing home. The architecture balances a modern palette with timeless detailing, creating a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors.

Timber windows frame garden views, while natural stone benchtops and handcrafted tiles bring texture and softness to the kitchen and living areas. Externally, Britton Timbers cladding treated with SiOO:X develops a silvery, weathered patina, complemented by smooth Rockcote Cerano render for contrast and durability. Inside, Woodcut timber flooring provides warmth and continuity, with reclaimed Baltic boards adding character and a sense of history. The result is a calm, cohesive extension shaped by enduring materials and thoughtful, understated design.

  • We couldn’t be happier with the beautiful house Simon and his team have built for us.
It was a tricky rebuild and extension, and everyone involved has been patient and good humoured in the face of Yarra Council’s ever-shifting demands, changes to the architect’s plans and the various unexpected problems that came up. We were particularly impressed by Stef and Lachie, who managed the site and were such a pleasure to deal with, and by Simon and Matt, who were a constant presence. Blueprint were recommended to us by friends and we in turn wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to others.
